Table Lamp EQUATORE Fontana arte

Created by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Equatore is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic lamp with a glass lampshade. While the traditional lampshade is used to hold the light source inside, in this family of lamps, the lampshade is paradoxically empty, the light being generated by two luminous disks placed inside a central metallic strip, visible on the lampshade, reminiscent of the equator line. The light produced by the LED, via internal screens arranged in layers, is diffused evenly on the surface of the disks, illuminating them as if by magic. The lower disk directs the light downwards, the upper disk illuminates the glass bell for soft, diffused light. Produced by Fontana Arte, Equatore is available as a table lamp, floor lamp and ceiling light, in two sizes and with different finishes.
