The Japanese studio Nendo joins forces with the Fritz Hansen brand to create N01, a solid wood chair, designed for modern interiors and lovers of high quality design. This chair pays homage to traditional woodworking techniques and perfectly blends Danish and Japanese styles. Its understated appearance evokes serenity and the appeal of authenticity, while its clever design is the embodiment of Japanese perfectionism. Meticulous work in combining the various production elements has made it possible to create a chair that gives an impression of simplicity and spontaneity. The N01 chair consists of 23 pieces that are shaped by an industrial process and then, like a jigsaw puzzle, are assembled entirely by hand. This designer chair combines a seat and backrest made of nine layers of wood veneer with a base made of solid wood. Both minimalist and detailed, this chair by Fritz Hansen is equally at home in a dining room or office.
